When you are studying the history of the war you will need to have a World War II Timeline for ready reference. One excellent way to make your own is by using old newspaper articles of the actual time period of the war.

Forget about the history books that are available. Use the same sources that your parents and grandparents had at hand during the actual war time. Many of the actual newspapers that existed at that time have been fully scanned and digitized and now you are able to search them instantly with your own computer from home.

Keyword Search:
You will be able to search by the name of the Soldier, Sailor or Marine or use keyword searches by subject such as; Battle of the Bulge, North Africa, Italy Invasion, War in France, D-Day Normandy, War in the Pacific, and so on.
Follow All Campaigns:
You will be able to build a collection of clippings and notes that represent all of the different campaigns and you will have a much better understanding of the overwhelming involvement of the whole world in this terrible time of strife.
Small Annual Subscription:
This World War II Timeline will have more of a personal meaning to you when you use these period points of reference. The small cost of an annual subscription is a pittance in comparison to the total value to you and your pursuits.
